Annevar Estates HOA Meeting 02/08/2023
Will – discussed account balance for community. 17 people still owe for last year’s HOA dues.
Carol – Community garden, Carter lumber will donate. Will seconded & everyone voted yes.
Meet and greet - informal asked about for the community. May do again, weather permitting.
Carol – Discussed dinner at Bricco’s and if people would like to join
Will - Discussed, Carol seconded. All others voted yes to post financials on web page and other activities.
Will - Discussed him and his daughters watering the flowers.
Discussed hiring somebody to water the flowers
Perhaps, someone in the community maintains the flowers and paying them for water usage
Art can pick out the flowers
Need bids for a landscaper within the community
Consult with landscaper
Ron Lapmardo can do it if Art cannot. Think about how much water the person would use.
Discussed having a kid do it as community service. Create a sign-up sheet? Put them out end of May. Pull weeds also.
Will & Carol voted yes, all others voted yes as well.
We have 4 new signs that will be installed at the entrances when the weather is nice
Carol - Not getting notifications for new residents moving in. Gift baskets are given to them. Will voted yes along with everybody else.
Sign up for ice cream social & block party on the website. All voted yes.
Setup signs about social events and include in HOA dues notices. All voted yes.
Carol - Participant to help make welcome baskets, need volunteer. All voted yes.
Carol - Easter egg hunt. All voted yes.
Carol - Need a fun community leader. All voted yes.
Discussed sheds in back yards. Repercussions for that outside of the rules
Have people on a board for certain things (e.g. trash cans)
Carol - Recommend having a meeting in the summer within the neighborhood to get more people involved. At block party?
Carol - Have meetings at Willard to draw more people for the meetings.
